Call to Prayer

Open the Gates invites you to set aside one day each week to pray for the Muslim world. If you can, make Friday at noon your special time to pray for the descendants of Ishmael. Friday is the Muslim holly day. It is on Fridays, at noon, that Muslims worldwide gather in local mosques to seek Allah's favor.

Here are a few suggestions as you pray:

Pray that the Holy Spirit will break the intense barriers and strongholds that keep Muslims from seeking and finding the Truth.

Pray that God will raise up workers and evangelists who will lead many Muslims to Christ.

Pray that God will continue to reveal Himself to Muslims through miracles, healings, and dreams.

Pray that Christians will resist a spirit of fear (and condemnation) towards Muslims and instead truly exemplify the Love of Christ.

Pray that God will give understanding and courage to Muslims who desire to know the Truth. Pray that all those whom God is pursuing will find Him, making a full surrender to Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Pray that God powerfully protects and sustains each new believer. Pray that they are discipled and firmly established in the faith.
